The first screen shows your recent projects and a searchable list of all projects. Select a project to stage it.From here you can:
- Click Use project to attach the entire project as context, or
- Click Choose files to drill into specific folders and files

The file tree shows the project’s folder hierarchy. Expand folders to see their contents — file counts appear next to each folder.Toggle Use entire project as context at the top to switch back to whole-project mode without leaving the screen.Select individual files, then click Attach N files to add them.
Searching for projects in chat
When you mention a project by name in a message, LOIS can search Filevine directly and return matching results as part of its response — no need to manually attach a project first if you only need a quick lookup.Saving documents to Filevine
From the more options menu in the add-in footer, choose Save to Filevine to save the current document into a Filevine project.
The drawer closes when the save completes. If the save fails, an error appears inline so you can retry.
Save to Filevine is available to all Filevine users, regardless of whether you’ve started a review.
